Come out on Sunday, June 23rd, from 1:30-3:30pm for the Forestry Farm Superintendent’s Residence Open House at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo.
The Superintendent’s Residence is a National Historic Site and was the focal point of the Sutherland Forest Nursery Station which, from 1913 to 1965, occupied the site of the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo. Founded by the federal Forestry Branch in 1913, the Sutherland Forestry Nursery Station was created to promote shelter belts and European ideals of farm beautification on the prairies
