Saskatoon History Review No. 30

Saskatoon History Review No. 30 is now available for purchase! In this issue, we have four authors whose articles will pique the interest of a wide readership. Historian Megan Hubert delights us with a history of Saskatoon’s iconic Bessborough Hotel. Artist David Geary, who has a long –time interest in architecture, brings us a photographic overview of Saskatoon’s mid-century modern homes. Local historian Alan Morton takes us on a trip down memory lane with his history of the pedestrian bridge over the CN railway tracks. Finally, Nutana historian Dianne Wilson tells of her quest to identify some early Temperance Colony buildings at ‘Broadway and Main’. There are numerous photos throughout.
