Saskatoon History Review No. 30 Launch – March 5th

 The official launch of Saskatoon History Review No 30 will take place at McNally Robinson Booksellers on Thursday, March 5th at 7:00 pm. The authors will be in attendance. Please join us! We have four authors whose articles will pique the interest of a wide readership. Historian Megan Hubert delights us with a history of Saskatoon’s iconic Bessborough Hotel. Artist David Geary, who has a long –time interest in architecture, brings us a photographic overview of Saskatoon’s mid-century modern homes. Local historian Alan Morton takes us on a trip down memory lane with his history of the pedestrian bridge over the CN railway tracks. Finally, Nutana historian Dianne Wilson tells of her quest to identify some early Temperance Colony buildings at ‘Broadway and Main’. There are numerous photos throughout.
